UNIVERSAL TIMER

This is your friend in power sequencing and time announcement. It is a 99 year chronological calendar clock and has a hoping 128 time settings per day, 7 days of the week.

You can switch ON or OFF up to 7 different power loads and one audible alarm, at pre-programmed time, desired by you.

The Universal Timer displays the time in hours, minutes and seconds. It also displays the date, month and year.

The day of the week is displayed by 7 LEDs. There are four switches on the front panel for setting the time, date and alarm.

There are 2 different models of the Universal Timer, to cater to various application requirements. These are as follows.

UT-16

This model has 16 settings for one load, which can be a bell or hooter. The duration of the alarm can be set so that once set the alarm will be on for the set duration. The duration can be different for different alarms. The time, date and alarm will have to be set by the front panel switches. Once set the alarm settings will repeat every day unless changed.

UT-700

This model has 128 settings for 7days of the week. This means that per day a total of 128 settings can be done individually for one alarm and 7 loads. The 128 settings can be different for each day of the week. Thus for the full week 7×128 settings are possible. These settings will repeat every week unless changed. To make programming of the 7×128 settings convenient, the Timer has been provided with a RS232 port. Thus this can be
connected to a computer. With the programming tool provided, on a CD, the various settings can be made in the computer and then transferred to the Universal Timer.

The Universal Timer comes along with its power supply module, which can be directly plugged on to a mains power socket.

The inbuilt clock and the settings are not disturbed even if the mains power is off. All the load controls are through potential free relay contacts. The contacts have a rating of 8 Amps at 230 Volts AC.
